REAL PEOPLE. REAL LIFE.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
We are passionate about having a positive impact on people that the church has contact with, and a positive impact on our community.
We are a church community of all ages and all cultures.
We love getting all together, but we also want to have programs that suit different ages and stages in life. These programs are great opportunities to meet others and to help each other grow in our faith.
PLENTY FOR YOU
Here there are plenty of opportunities to get involved
There are social activities – anything from dinners to sports teams, camps or a game of bowls or joining the gym. There are spiritual activities – anything from small groups through to prayer meetings.
There are opportunities for personal growth through serving or leadership, and opportunities for you to help others or receive help with counselling, courses, prayer, and more.
We hope that you would be able to find people with similar interests and at a similar stage of life to you, people who have been through things already and can encourage you, and people that you can be an inspiration.
Adults have massive challenges in our world today. We know that God wants to meet those challenges with you, and to put others around you in the journey.
PURPOSE AND COMMUNITY
Purpose and community for those aged 18-late 20's
Tuesday Night is young adults night here at church and 'EMBASSY' is the hub of what happens for our young adults. We’re a community who meet to have fun, be challenged in our beliefs, and enjoy each other’s company.
Our stage in life comes with massive challenges and massive opportunities.
In this age group you can have singles, couples, married, with kids, divorced and single parents. You can have people training, studying, qualified, looking for work, working, going overseas, returning from overseas, starting a new career and wanting to change career. You can also be curious about faith, strong in your faith, questioning your faith, re-evaluating your faith, ditching your faith or wanting to re-ignite your faith.
Whichever stage of life and faith you are at, God wants you to know how much he cares for you and how much he wants to be involved in your life.
EMBASSY is about forming genuine friendships, and being inspired and confronted about our place in the world and our place with God.
Check out EMBASSY – every Tuesday night at 7pm.
Preteen and teen years aren’t easy – but they can be awesome too!

and love hanging out with you.

CHURCH LIFE IS FOR KIDS TOO
Kids are important to us as a church, because we know they are important to you and to God who made them.
We have Sunday morning programmes that have heaps of fun, heaps of music, heaps of Bible, heaps of small groups stuff, heaps of big group stuff and heaps of opportunity for your child to hear about Jesus. There is even morning tea provided (kids need those snacks!)
There are a range of programs to suit all ages:
Under 1’s are in the chapel with a play area & mums feeding area.
There’s a big screen video of the service and this is a parent supervised area.
1-3 year olds have songs, story, craft & play areas, including an outdoor playground. There’s a changing area and video feed of the service, and tea and coffee for parents.
4-6 year olds have an awesome program with some great leaders.
We want church to be a place where children love going to because they are cared for well, programs are fun and age appropriate and have great teaching.
A great transition from toddler to big school kid.
7-10 year olds have a creative, fun program designed to engage children and grow them in their faith and care for those around them.
Years 7-9 High energy, creative fun and solid teaching in preparation for the teen years.
Kids programmes operate throughout the year, including special school holiday programs. Children head into Morning Church first (we love having them there) and then head out to their programs part way through church. Three times a year we do “All In” Services as well – kids aged 4 and upwards stay in “Big” Church for the morning.
God can do amazing things through children and we’d like to partner with you in helping your kids learn about Him and grow in all the things he has for them.
A THRIVING COMMUNITY
Seniors are an essential part of our church community,
and we love seeing our senior community thriving.
We hope our church is a great place to meet others and to be encouraged in life and faith. These are some of the things on offer:
Walking group – Every first Friday of the month at 9.30am.
Come explore the local area and enjoy a flat white afterwards.
Chapel – Every second Friday of the month at 10am.
Good preaching, good hymns and choruses, maybe some performances,
followed by morning tea together.
Super Friday – Every fourth Friday of the month starting from 9.30am.
Activities first with things like indoor bowls, crafts, table tennis, board games.
Add a morning tea, a speaker on a relevant topic and then a café lunch –
all at a price that can’t be matched at any other café you go to. Super!
Road trip – Every fifth Friday
Hop in the mini vans and head out for a day trip to somewhere of interest.
Smaller groups – home groups, indoor bowls group, bible study groups, prayer groups – usually accompanied with a good cup of tea and a good chat.
HANG OUT GROUPS
Hang Out groups are an opportunity for you to regularly meet with a few people and allow your life to interact with theirs. We have hang out groups in Kids Church, youth, young adults and through the adult church.
We hope that you can become part (or start!) a group of people that you can build real relationships with, who you can support and who you can receive support from. Hang Out groups can be massively varied – a few people or families who live near you, they could revolve around an activity together or a shared interest, meet in a café, meet in a home, meet at church, meet at 6am, meet at the Warriors game – there are lots of different kinds of group!
God made us to be inter-dependent. Hang Outs are a superb way of fulfilling that in a way that is real and special. We simply encourage you to be involved with other people’s lives in a regular and on-going way.
