WHERE TO FROM HERE?

We sought the Lord, and he answered...

As a church we set aside 21 days to pray (talk & listen) and fast as a community. The Lord honoured our sacrifice and our seeking, and we are so excited for the new vision and mission that he has laid before us...

Vision  |  Mission Statement  |  Values  |  Statement of Faith

We have two big tasks the Lord has asked MCBC to implement:

  1. Hope Through Open Doors: To be a lighthouse with open doors to our community where people can find true oasis – comfort, peace, healing – through daily opportunities to hear the Word of God.

  2. South Auckland CR Hub: To be a launchpad and then hub for Celebrate Recovery – helping churches in South Auckland host and run CR groups

Our 2026 Goals

  • Life Groups: We would love to have at least 80% of our church community in a thriving Life Group. We're aiming to get more groups starting in 2026.

  • Night Church: Starting up in March with the goal to form a space for people to come to worship, learn and grow their giftings.

  • Focus on Scripture: Praying into first steps to create daily opportunities to teach the word of God.

  • Celebrate Recovery: To connect with church leaders all over South Auckland to share the vision of CR and to continue to grow leaders within each group.

Pledge to pray

No vision can happen without the foundation of prayer. The leadership would love for you to join us in pledging to pray:

That we as MCBC will be attentive, obedient, and bold in fulfilling God’s vision to advance His Kingdom in South Auckland. For Jesus to reveal to each of us our part in this vision and help us obey whatever He asks. We pray that the Holy Spirit will guide us clearly in every step we need to take, and that God will protect our church and every person involved.
